Bio: I am the Editor for the Journal of Natural Science Collections and the online Notes and Comments. This involves editing articles and working with peer reviewers to ensure the papers are to the highest standard. Although it requires a lot of time and hard work editing and formatting each article, I find it really interesting to work with authors and peer reviewers on producing the Journal. I am the geologist for Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia, working for the Royal Commission of Alula (RCU). My role involves leading the development of a new museum, and integrating the quite amazing geology of the area into the work the RCU does. It involves a lot of advocacy and engagement about the geological history of the area, for local people and for tourists to have a better understanding and appreciation of the natural landscape around them.
